A man was left bleeding after an altercation with pro-Hamas demonstrators in New York City on October 7, one year after the Hamas attack on Israel left more than 1,200 people dead and prompted the latest conflict in Gaza.
Footage filmed by Jessica Costescu shows the man pulling out an Israeli flag in front of pro-Palestine protesters, before he and demonstrators start arguing and fighting.
The man can be seen leaving the scene with a bloody nose.
Demonstrators flooded Manhattan’s streets as part of a march departing from the New York Stock Exchange and stopping at various locations, before finishing at Columbus Circle at 6 pm.
